Personal Lines and or Commercial Lines Adviser:
Griffin Owens Insurance Group, a multi-line insurance agency with five locations in Northern Virginia, is expanding its successful sales team. The ideal candidate will be self directed and have a proven track record of success in marketing or insurance sales. This is an ideal opportunity for the a self motivated entrepreneurial person to establish and build a career developing personal lines and business insurance relationships within the agency and the community. The agency uses a consultative needs based approach when advising clients and has the ability to provide competitive quotes with numerous companies. This allows the agent acccess to abroad range of products to meet the insurance and financial services needs of clients and prospects.
Generate new client relationships through contacting businesses, referrals, social media, centers of influence and other established methods.
Contact existing clients to review and revise coverage to meet their current situation.
Respond to policy change requests, claims questions, and general policy updates.
Maintain client relationships by providing excellent service and individualized solutions.
Financial Services Adviser
Griffin-Owens Insurance Group – Herndon, VA
Griffin-Owens Insurance Group, a multi-line insurance and financial services firm in Northern Virginia is looking for a client-focused, proactive financial advisor to join our successful team. The position requires a strong track record of success, extensive knowledge and broad experience in the financial services field.
The organization serves the needs of the Northern Virginia area and insures and/or advises over fifteen thousand families and individuals, three thousand businesses and serves the financial needs of more than a thousand financial clients. The successful candidate will have full access to the existing client base to develop long term relationships, customized advice and professional service.

- FINRA Series 6 and 63
- Bachelors Degree: Business or Communications preferred
- Minimum 4 years experience in Financial Services
- Previous Insurance Sales a plus
